Hyperprolactinemia—Hyperprolactinemia refers to a high prolactin level which can cause amenorrhea, anovulation and infertility.  Most of the time, hyperprolactinemia is due to a tumor on the pituitary gland.  It can also be secondary to pregnancy, miscarriage or abortion.  Acupuncture and herbs can treat this condition by ‘resetting’ the reproductive cycle and regulating reproductive hormones.  Once health is restored to the reproductive organs, normal fertility can be expected.
